Getting ready to hop the Starlight to Sacremento on saturday, It will be a beautiful ride!! Does anyone now if the snow effected service anywhere along the route?? I'm looking forward to the wonderful winter scenes along the way!!!

As of right now, nope, there are no service disruptions and everything is running smoothly. I'm jealous! It will be absolutely beautiful through the Cascades (I'm assuming you're coming from the north since the topic is "Northwest snow"?).

Don't forget a small roll of duct tape. On the newly refurbished Superliner I sleepers that they are using, they either forgot the velcro altogether for the curtains that cover the window towards the hallway, or the velcro is there but is not lined up and is useless. The tape will come in very handy to secure your curtain at night. It will also help with rattles.

I'm headed up to Portland on the Starlight January 5th. I sure hope we don't get a heat wave that melts all that beautiful snow!
