Next week I'm going for a 'short' Amtrak outing...
Prince, WV to Charlottesville aboard the Cardinal on Wednesday; RT to DC using the new Regional train up and the Crescent back on Thursday, and then return to Prince on Friday.
This will be my first ride on the Cardinal in several years so I'm curious about that. I'm doing coach and daytrips here because I just can't bring myself to cash in Guest Reward Points for a ride on the relatively spartan Cardinal.
