Wonder how the writer got the idea that the Silver Star's eastern terminus is Boston? I like the line beginning, "Trains are such a cool way to travel..."

Didn't at least one of the Silver trains once originate in Boston rather than New York? Maybe in the 1990s?

Geoff, during the very early days of Amtrak, they changed the name of the Silver Meteor to the Meteor and ran it to and from Boston. Believe it might have been '72 or '73; it only lasted one summer.
