While I first reported this tragic occurence at the linked topic, from reviewing Mr. Pawson's work here and at other rail related sites, this gentleman was a rail passenger advocate, bar none. Possibly The Moderator, aka Laurie, will choose to notify his family so that they may review the remarks we make here.
Even if I do not wholly agree with the goals of passenger train advocacy, such is not the time and place to address that issue.
