Nobody hurt, just an expensive link to restore. Impressive collapse though.

Here is Associated Press reportage of the incident:

Associated Press Courtesy of San Antonio Express-News

Brief passage:

The line, formerly part of the Gulf, Colorado, & Santa Fe (ATSF), is lightly trafficked. Accordingly, there is some possibility that the bridge may not be restored. Reference to the Colorado River by "the Beeb's" news reader is to the Colorado River in Texas, as distinct from the better known one that traverses five Western and one Mexican states.

On the topic of bridge collapses: here's another bridge down. This will have an effect on Amtrak travel between Seattle and Vancouver BC. The detours around the fallen bridge are not going to be easy, so the easiest way to get to Mt. Vernon, Bellingham and Vancouver from Seattle will be Amtrak.
