Not even news, except to come up with a tag besides "It's Damn Cold in Chicago."

This is 19th century technology and has been going on back to "smudge pot" days on every railroad in America.

Lester Holt started out here in Chicsgo during the '70's (on local CBS). He should have known "smudge pots" are nothing new.
