hey evry one. Here is a challange for you. you are given 3 locos(u-28b,sw1200,f9 a unit) now place each loco in the one lashup. This will help me with my trains. PS this does not have to fallow a prototype.

also the locos would have to go over a 2% grade.

thank you

well, shaun it really does not mater what engine goes first, but protipically you would either want the F unit or the U boat first out and that is usually decided by the engine house or power control. unless you are on a shortline railroad the sw units are usually in a train to be transported from point to point or to a repair facility. Also depending on the style trucks they have also decides on the train they will be in. some have road trucks and some have switcher trucks, and the ones with the switcher trucks usually do not go over 40 mph. also the draw heads need rubber buffers installed on the sides to keep the draw heads from moving to far to the sides that is also a consideration to where it gets placed in the lashup. if an SW or say an MP15 engine has the buffers it can be placed anywhere in the lashup, but if it does not have them it must be the trailing unit. but the big railroad sre fazing out the small switch engines in favor of GP 38's GP 40's and 4 axle GE's and many of the switchers are going to shortlines or industries so you might see one anyplace in a lashup?????????????
