The Lomita Railroad Museum is having its fourth annual "Golden Spike Day" Fundraiser on Saturday, October 26, from 10am - 3pm.

Free admission to the museum that day. Its main attractions are an SP Mogul, UP and ATSF cabooses, an old Union Oil tank car, and a wood sided boxcar. Unfortuantely, the recently acquired ex-ATSF Diner had to be sold for scrap as it was in poor condition and it was not feasible to repair it.

Visiting exhibits include a modular model railroad, the MTA, the Voices of Honda choir, and Palos Verdes Symphonic Band.

Classic and antique autos will be on display.

There will be raffle prizes and a silent auction. Souvenirs will be available also.

Food and refreshments available for sale coutesy of the Lomita Sister City Org. There will also be "Sandy Candy" for sale.

There will be a "Kids Zone" (admission $1) with a fun jump, face painting, scavenger hunt, etc.
