For those who's only interest is where and what railroad, the news article said Gunter, Texas which is a small town about half way between Sherman and Frisco, along Texas highway 289. This is the former Frisco Sapulpa OK (west of Tulsa) to Irving TX line. Irving TX is the junction point with the former Rock Island between Dallas and Fort Worth over shich the Frisco, and now BNSF still have rights to run into both cities. The line is so far as I know still a 49 mph non-signaled single track railroad.
