I got a peice that was still frozen, and latter I saw that it came out of a big Kraft (aka Phillip Morris aka big Cigarette company) box. I was disapointed after reading how much certain people enjoyed it, so ive got to agree with littletrain, "AMTRAK CHEESE CAKE DOES SUCK".

Your Thoughts?

Most of the food comes out of a box and either heated in a microwave or left to thaw if it is not to be heated. Salads come out of a plastic bag from Dole, just like you'd buy at the local supermarket. For example, those burgers some of you like so much are precooked by the supplier, frozen, and reheated when ordered. Steaks, pancakes, eggs are, of course, cooked "to order" on a grill.

Unless they've changed suppliers since I last tried it in March, Amtrak cheesecake is bland, bland, bland.

The phrase "airline food" is an oxymoron.
