I couldn't help but notice all of the flames coming from very active threads, and I think that is a great sign. All these great discussions do alot of good I think, and although this may offend some, I would like to thank polarbear for posting a such controversial topic.

I like it too. I just wouldn't want this board to become like another board, where a member or two nit-picks every statement anyone posts, then others respond, and soon it becomes a back-and-forth argument.

You may think I'm speaking of a particular RR-net site, but it can also apply to a Yahoo Amtrak group, the granddaddy of all Amtrak lists, where the arguments can go a little long...
