I can't believe I don't know the answer to this. On the other hand (or worse yet), I can't seem to find this information online anywhere:
Are the parking "situations" at Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal (Union Station) limited by any sort of hours of operation? More plainly, will I be able to park in the MTA parking structure at 1am on a Saturday? (I'm planning to ride the wee-hours Bakersfield bus to catch a weekend San Joaquin train...)

They probably have a short-term parking lot as well as a long-term lot there, so check that out. You'd want the long-term lot. I've never parked at Union Station so I don't know.

Its around $10-12 for the day at Union Station.
We left a car there overnight when we went to San Diego and it was over $20 for a day and a half.
If you plan on taking a day trip, dont plan to spend less then $10.

Right.
But my question is: Can one arrive and park a car there *at* 1 in the morning on a Saturday? Back when there was plentiful parking out front, I wouldn't even bother to ask the question, but now that the only ample parking is beneath the MTA ("Metro"?) headquarters building, I'm concerned about arriving in the wee hours and finding all the entrances closed for the night.
Anyone been there recently enough to remember if there were "hours of operation" posted anywhere in the MTA lot?

Answering my own question:
You can park at the MTA Headquarters Building next to Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal 24hrs a day (entry, dunno if the exit is staffed round the clock, though I assume so). There is also a sign at the entrance that states "Vehicles left over 10 days subject to towing unless prior arrangements have been made."
