My friend has her ticket from SBA to LAX on the 7:05 pm Surfliner next Thursday. However, the ticket does not have the train number on it. Is that usual?
Also, their ride north on the #14 says Reserved Coach. Does that mean specific seats are reserved for them? Nothing on the ticket indicates a particular seat.
Thanks

Assuming she isn't traveling Business Class, then her ticket is unreserved coach class. She may use the ticket on any Surfliner schedule. If there are any date restrictions, they will be printed on the ticket.

"Reserved Coach" on #14 means she is guaranteed a seat. Altho coach seats are not computer-assigned, she may be assigned a seat when she boards depending on how crowded the train is, or is expected to be.
