I notice the World's Greatest Hobby Show is going to be at the Del Mar Fairgrounds January 12th and 13th. I know the San Diegan...oops Surfliner goes right by the fairgrounds. Doing some online checking, the Solana Beach depot is fairly close to the fairgrounds.

There also was a free bus service from the Solana depot to the fairgrounds, but unfortunately this is only during horse racing season. So it won't be up and running during the train show days.

Are there any dedicated connections from the depot to the fairgrounds? I'm sure there are some railroad guys out there also planning on taking the train to the show...so how are you getting there?
