T O P I C     R E V I E W mikev Member # 4864 posted I placed an article from the Baltimore Sun on "Commuter Trains" which speaks to the ever-increasing ridership in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. I was surprised when the article said Marc was in negotiations with Amtrak about running more trains on the Penn line. I guess I was not aware the Amtrak owned that line. And to think I was mad when O'Malley raised my taxes last year!!   irishchieftain Member # 1473 posted Amtrak also runs all the MARC trains on that line, under contract. IINM, CSX runs the diesel trains on the other lines.
