Anyone heard anything more about the Ski Train returning under new management this winter?

Seems like there would be some advertising out there if it was 'all set'.

Mr. Presley, I would give it a '50-50".

All too many of the "dramatis personae" with the sponsoring party were involved with an outfit here in Chicago some 35 years ago, that did business under the name of Golden Arrow Line Tours (complete with Sharon Arrow, someone's then-wife, as reservationist); suffice to say what was promised was "uh not exactly' delivered. One thing they were quite efficient at doing was collecting the loot.

Given the parties in interest track record, I would strongly suggest being fully satisfied that the service is up and running before making any kind of commitments. If you choose to travel to Denver to take a joyride on it, It would be wise to take your chances and not lay anything down until you see a train in the station complete with a crew and the engines "throbbing". In short, have some alternate 'to do" in Denver.

Maybe over thirty five years, some acts have been cleaned up, and I should respect that. But with the experience of GALT lurking in the past, all I can say is "caveat emptor".

Ahhhhh....

Hadn't planned any joyrides to Denver yet having just been there in July......

But if we really see dome cars climbing the Front Range, that could change.
