In several weeks we will be on the MetroNorth line from Chappaqua, NY into Grand Central after visiting friends. While this is not an Amtrak question (although I do wish the LSL still left from that magnificent station), does anyone know about locker availability for our bags in GCT? We're having lunch nearby with our son before heading to Penn station and NJT.

This will be a 'first' for a trip on the old NYC line to Brewster.

The lockers where removed during the renovations during the 90's. If you are staying at a hotel near by they can store your bags until you check in.

If they had not removed the lockers then I'm sure they would have been taken out after 9/11. The Baggage room was removed about the time the Pan Am er Met Life building went up.

Thanks Tanner. We're staying with our son and family in Morristown, so I guess we'll just lug our bags to lunch or maybe take them to our son's office a couple blocks away.
