Page 77 in the April edition of Trains states, "No word yet on its return to the U.K.". Last Thursday on a visit to the York Museum, Tornado was more or less complete, just waiting for her cab to be replaced. Obviously it is essential for the Trust to get her back on her revenue-earning schedule, hauling specials. Also being worked on was Flying Scotsman's corridor tender. I was informed she is at present in war-time black but will soon be retored to LNER apple-green.
