Glad to hear this one is finally on track. What was the final verdict on Winter Park, Mike. Will it use the existing route and if so will the stop still be in that prime location downtown. I wouldn't shed a tear if they built a new station there, but would hate to see everything moved (and presumalby Amtrak?) away from the current park like setting in walking distance of shops/restaurants.

palmland, not much coverage given to SunRail up here in Ocala, except as regards the extra freight traffic coming through town on the "S" line. Not aware of anything going on with the existing Winter Park station, and I share your sentiments about any plans to move it.

Looks like it's a done deal. Wonder what it means for Amtrak?

The Orlando paper has an article about the new Winter Park station. Sounds (and looks) like an improvement over the existing one. So glad they essentially kept the current location. It appears to be at the south end of the existing parking lot??
