I was on the Amtrak website today making reservations SAN-SBA for a week from tomorrow. I indicated that I wanted the e-ticket option and it was e-mailed to me as part of the confirmation. Very easy and saves a trip down to the Station to pickup the tickets.

I have a question, though. The single level Surfliner used to have a unique number. That seems to have changed. I'm thinking it's the train that gets to SLO at about 1:00PM. Or are they all double-deckers now?

I was told that 798/799 have new numbers now, although I'm not sure what those numbers are. It should still be the single-level equipment on that run.
