All--

I know some of you share my love of cruising or, at least, have an interest in it as an alternative method of travel, so I thought I'd post this link to a review I wrote for Cruise Critic. http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=264514

It sounds like a good cruise, sbalax, although I'm sure your premium accommodations helped! I'm not sure how big your ship was but I don't think I'd care for a megaship. Part of the fun of sailing to me is being at sea and appreciating the voyage itself. Seems like that would be harder to do if it was just a floating city. However my only experience was on a 2300 passenger Disney ship, which was excellent (Disney does do crowds well), a 800 passenger Portuguese ship long ago and a couple trips on a 150 passenger small ship where the Captain made interesting unplanned side excursions into remote areas. The South Pacific is definitely on our bucket list.

Palmland--

Celebrity Century is a very nice size ship at only 1800 passengers. Sadly she will be leaving the fleet next Spring. We have one more cruise on her -- Singapore to Dubai. That will be followed by Dubai to Istanbul on Azamara Quest which is much smaller.
