The announced settlement is pretty much a clean sweep for Talgo. Title to the trains remains with Talgo and Wisconsin has to pay an additional $9.7 million.

quote:
Wisconsin taxpayers will end up paying $9.7 million more for two state of the art train sets — for a total of roughly $50 million — but leave the trains with their Spanish manufacturer, under the settlement of a nearly 3-year-old lawsuit.
Let's see how many of the 16 other GOP contenders try to blame this on Walker.

He's the Chief Executive of the State. He gets the credit when things go well, he takes the blame when things go poorly.
