Here is a USA Today headline and Fair Use quotation from MSN News feed to Windows
  • Primary takeaways: Clinton, Trump pick up steam in Amtrak states

If Tuesday night was the Amtrak primaries, Donald Trump was a freight train, barreling through his GOP opponents like Meadowlands marsh grass. Hillary Clinton also leaves the region with a head of steam, with Bernie Sanders hanging on for dear life. Avoiding all further railroad metaphors, here are our top takeaways from Tuesday's primaries
I show this here not to talk politics (we have a Forum for that - Open Discussion) but rather to point out to what extent Amtrak has become a household name. To me, this is vindication of the decision to "can" the term RAILPAX, which was a working term during the formulation of the NRPC. This was controversial 45 years ago, as it was felt a lot of free advertising was lost.

"Acela primaries" might be a better term, although I saw Tuesday's elections called the "I-95 primaries" at MSN.

Yes, I heard the term "Acela Primaries" bandied about, but not "Amtrak Primaries."

One thing about this year's election: the way it's shaping up, the nation is going to be led by someone with those "New York values," one way or the other, unless Cruz and/or Kasich can become relevant.
