Heads UP La Plata MO LAP for TOmorrow -Sat 26th AUg Train 3
A 2nd hand rumor says the NCDOT 1859 F59 Locomotive is supposed to be on Amtrak train 3 of 26 sat ALL the way to Los Angeles CA . This is if Cap Limited 29 makes the Chicago connection. This unit was the 2nd of 2 units on Train 29 of 25th today Friday by HFY Harpers Ferry WV. Be on the lookout to see what happens.

Bear in mind that tomorrow saturday 25th Aug is the EARLIEST Possible time this unit could be on Train 3. I just wanted this caveat to be clear if the unit is delayed and not on tomorrows train 3.

La Plata spycam viewers have a unique one coming your way. #3 (30) is comprised of what appears to be two normal #3 consists together coupled rear to rear and four P-32's. Eighteen cars as I recall. Evidently some train had to be short turned; anyone know when that occurred?

I read elsewhere that the SWC is combined with the Sunset that was stranded in New Orleans. It's being repositioned to Albuquerque. Then, presumably, down to El Paso.
