I am planning that postponed OKC and Tulsa trip, also hope to get to Guthrie. Any tips on restaurants and other attractions (I know about capitol and memorial)? Also, any info on what it's like to arriving at OKC station at night, neighborhood, etc? it seems hotels are too close to warrant a taxi, but maybe I need one anyway?

Stay here in OKC. Period.

I would check the University of Central Oklahoma ( http://www.ucojazzlab.com/ ) for their jazz lab concerts.

finally, I'd look at the Frontier Brass Band to see if they are performing. They're a young band, only a couple years in existence, but I know the music director and his standards [Smile] They are on book of faces.
