This Friday theaters will be showing the movie, "1517 to Paris", directed by Clint Eastwood:

Not an Amtrak train but a Thalys train from Amsterdam to Paris. The 3 Americans who prevented the ISIS attack play themselves in the movie.

If I ever get to Europe the Thalys train is one I would like to take. Only a little over 3 hrs from Paris to Amsterdam.

Looks like a good one. We’re addicted to Netflix but this would be a good to see in the theater. We were on Thayls last summer from LeMans to CDG that was continuing to Brussels. It was fast but slightly seedy with very indifferent crew. It reminded me of Amtrak. Most interesting part was circumnavigating Paris to get to the airport on the other side. Try that around Chicago! I think Mr Norman’s Brightline is much nicer if a quite a bit slower.
