Not a great start to the flip of equipment today for Amtrak between the Texas Eagle and the Capitol Limited.

Westbound Capitol arrived into Chicago at 11:02am, 2 hours and 2 minutes late.

This provided just 53 minutes for the "flip".

Obviously that did not happen and the westbound Texas Eagle left over 1 hour late this afternoon.

It looks like the crews in St. Louis took the full two hours or more to turn the northbound Eagle this morning -- with the train sitting in STL from 7:46am to 9:43am.

29(27) ar CHI 1102A 122ML

21(28) dp CHI 149P 64ML

22(27) ar STL 746A 22ML

Correct!

Looks like 21(29) left late too.

A tad better than 21(28), but wow... the departure time of 21 is going to be abysmal in the weeks and months ahead.
