This is also the anniversary of the East Broad Top's start as a tourist railroad in 1960. On this day all train tickets will be be reduced to $5.00 per. person. Trains will operate that day at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm and 6:30pm. The once a year "Twilight Train" Will depart at 6:30pm. reservations are being accepted by phone until time of departure. (814-447-3011) In addition to the train rides we will be offering guided tours of the shops/roundhouse and yards.

We also invite you to admire the current work being done to Locomotive #15 and to Caboose #28. We are very proud of everyone's hard work on all of the projects going on. In the railroad yard there will be demonstrations of track building by the Friends Of The East Broad Top. Also we will have rides aboard one of our many restored antique track cars. Located at the East Broad Top station there will be a photo display featuring pictures from the historic East Broad Top Railroad archives.

Also to help us celebrate this event, we will have numerous craft vendors and artisans displaying their work. there will be a display of exotic animals, a horse and wagon, the McDonaldland "Grimace" will be here in the morning riding the train with "Shrek" and the children.

There will be a classic car show on the neighboing Home Coming Grounds. Music will be provided throughtout the day.

There will be something for eveyone.
