The DW and I will be hauling the trailer up to Petaluma in a few weeks and was wondering about tourist trains or train museums in that area.

I don't know of any nearby tourist trains. There is the Napa Valley Wine Train between Napa and St. Helena. That one is a lot of fun and very good food, aboard. There is also the Skunk Train between Ft. Bragg and Willits but that is a lot further north.

The Northwestern Pacific RR Society may eventually have a museum in the area..there once was one in Rohnert Park, near Petaluma. They currently are looking for a new home.
