Thought there would have been a topic on here about that. Fascinating to see nominally Catholic politicians describing the move of this issue to the states as “outrageous”.

JFTR, the first geopolitical entity to legalize abortion in the previous century was the Soviet Union.

I started to respond Mr. Helfner, but decided "this one is too hot" even for open discussion amongst participants who have shown they know the meaning of maturity and respect.

I agree with Mr. Norman, particularly when it comes to the history and application of it. Just say that personal view is that abortion is murder.

The heat certainly is a lot lower than the media would have liked it to be. Only loudmouth celebrities, and not-as-violent-as-they-could-have-been demonstrations outside pro-life establishments in dark blue states.

To be sure, it will be a while before anyone freely declares Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization so-called “settled law” like the decision it overturned was declared to be by our “betters”. Perhaps this will be the end of so-called stare decisis, which is IMHV an attempt to make bad precedent into unrepealable diktat.
