Was up at Cajon Pass (At Swathout Canyon Road by the creek) a few weeks back, and was told to leave by BNSF Security. Has the same happened to the Tehachapi Loop area, or is the area still accessable? Any reply appreciated.

Was at the loop w/ about 15+ others this past weekend & no problems. If you were on the road & not on RR property why would the RR dicks hassle you?

Tehachapi is still wide open and accessible. I was just up there in March and went all over the place without any hassle. Cajon has become a not-so-nice place to be. After the big fire last summer, the forest service closed off a lot of the land to all foot traffic, plus if you really want to be "legal" you have to buy a pass from the forest service since you're on national park land. If you don't, they can cite you. If you were on public property when the BNSF officer told you off, then they've gotten more strict up there since I was last there.
