Be sure to note the "as it happened" video included within this "Voice of Vladimir" coverage:

Although not yet confirmed there likely are three fatalities.

The hue and cry will go forth for Positive Train Control. Funny how the industry ostensibly "got along without it" - until Chatsworth.

addendum: I guess the events today in Constantinople got this incident off the lead.
