For travel between Milan, Italy and Venice, Italy which train is better, the Cisalpino or Eurostar Italia?

As long as both trains use specifically built high-speed lines, they should be about the same. However, if they run on existing lines the Cisalpino would likely be faster. The Eurostar (I believe this applies in the Italian Eurostar but you might want to research this) is a variation of the French TGV, made by Alstom, and does not tilt. The Cisalpino, manufactured by Fiat (now owned by Bombardier, who also now owns Alstom and built the Amtrak Acela), has a hydraulic tilt system and can travel up to 20% faster on conventional lines.
