Today I rode the Surfliner round trip Fullerton-San Diego.

Both directions the train slowed to about 30 mph near San Onofre. There is a construction trailer in the area, with a banner about "Amtrak's Second Main Track at San Onofre".

Further south they are installing the new passing track in Encinitas; are they doing the same around San Onofre?
