Finally after months of waiting today is the first day of my trip!

Today being Wednesday (NZ time 5:04am) and I'm flying direct to LA, leaving here 2:45pm but arriving in LA 7:30am Wednesday for my appointment with the SW Chief!

I'm not sure when I'll next have access to a computer but I'll try and let you know how it's going.

Wish me luck!

He's probably en route now, but I'm certainly interested to see how it goes. He's been planning this one for a long time.

I am indeed here! In LA!! My friend did not show up so I'm alone and lost!! LOL I went direct to Union station and asked where an Internet Cafe is, was told to take the red train (went through Mcarthur Park!! LOL) am now at Wilshire vermon typing this letter!!

Looking forward to the trip, already got some awesome pictures of trains at the station too! Anytime I can get online I'll let you know how it's going. The flight was amazing even if the people in front and behind seemed intent on stopping me from sleeping..

plus every time I tried to sleep the plane would start jumping around!! When I gave up trying to sleep the ride was smooth?? Go figure!! LOL
