I wanted to "watch" some Amtrak Surfliners today but the webcams do not seem to be working. Are they working for you?
I use firefox as my browser and I'm wondering if this does not support the webcams. I'd like to watch Surfliners and the Southwest Chief...is this still possible? Are the cams down? Or is it just me?

The Fullerton and Santa Ana cams have been down for some time, but the Olympia-Lacey cam is still going--I just checked it and it's raining like crazy.

Both of the computers in Santa Ana needs updates and replacement. Trainweb will be working on this problem soon but Railparty.com takes up most of the office staff time.

Thanks for all the responses. I thought for sure it was my computer.

You must remember a few things. Trainweb started Trainparty.com a new business which has become very sucessful. That caused them to move out of the Fullerton Station to a much larger new office with about three times more space. They had to move everything they owned to that new location and then organized it all there. Next the party business really took off and is growing everyday. The office staff hasn't grown but new help for packing and shipping is on board. During the move the Santa Ana Amtrak agent tried to get ahold of the staff but never could. I took it upon myself to find out what was wrong with the Santa Ana cams and have let them know. A good sign is that Fullerton Cam 2 is now back. Time and your patience is all that is needed to get Santa Ana back on line.
