I don't see a place on the forum page to indicate when I receive a PM.

is there one ?

You should get an eMail if you have a PM. Also, you can click on "my profile" and it will be listed there. These are the only two ways I know.

The PM thing is simple and easy.

Just click on the username on the thread and you come up with the posters user profile. There you can see a box which says send private message. Click that and a blank page appears. Type your message and click send reply.

Your message goes to the poster, if they have approved PMs without displaying their email address or yours. That way everybody retains their privacy.

Neat isn't it?

Thanks for the info. I don't know if I approved PMs when I signed up; I never even put my state. I would add it but I haven't figured out how!
