I am planning a trip from BAL to SEA via Capitol Limited and Empire Builder in January 2007. My wife and daughter will fly to SEA on the day of my arrival. What is the best way to get from King Street Station to SEATAC Airport? Does Sounder system have a route or am I limited to taxi? Estimate on one way taxi fare or Sounder fare if that is a possible routing.

thanks in advance.

If you don't have much luggage there is a city bus (#90???) that makes the run directly to the terminals at SEA-TAC. The last time I took it the fare was under $2.00 and it was a pretty quick trip.

I agree with Frank - Route MT194 runs at least every 30 mins and takes less than 30 mins from King Street Station to SeaTac(there is also route MT174 which makes more stops and takes about 45 mins). Fare is $1.25 off peak - a snip compared with a taxi fare and not significantly slower - bus stop is just a few yard from terminal bulding. Check it out at www.transit.metrokc.gov
