Yes Amtrak will be having special turkey dinners on Thanksgiving ala Wolfgang Puck lol. The menu will be special so no regular menu. It may be simplified but I can assure you it will be as close to home cooking as you can get.

BTW Too bad Amtrak can't cook up a meal as portrayed in the OP's photo(:-

Actually, they are serving their regular menu as well. It's just that in place of the country fried steak (chef special) they are serving a turkey dinner.

I was on the Chief this past Saturday (11/18/06)and they indeed had the Turkey dinner and Pumpkin Pie desert as specials. Although I didn't try it, my dining companions said it was pretty good.

On the Zephyr 11/19 and 11/20 they were serving Turkey and Pumpkin Pie. It was really good; I had it both days.
