My article (Part 1) about our summer 2010 travels is now available on TrainWeb - see the Feature Stroies links on the home page. This article is "Journey to Mid-America and Ontario-Part 1". This story includes train rides on Amtrak's trains linking St.Louis and Kansas City and the elusive Quincy and Galesburg line as well as the Music City Star and South Shore Line commuter trains. We also visited other rail related sights in Huntsville, AL; Nashville, and St. Louis. In between we visited some neat places by car. This should give a good idea of some worthwhile things to see and do and perople who enjoy visiting cities may get some useful hints.
