Someone on my Facebook page went by there and said there were about 10 people and 20 sheriff's deputies. I think all of the problems with alcohol and fights in the past has really quieted it down since law enforcement was forced to step in.

My understanding is that the owner and imbibers of Mugs Away Saloon would prefer that this tradition stops yesterday. Whenever I ride the Surfliner south I pass by this dive bar in it's odd location and have only seen the mooning once.
