Wonderful trip so far. I've posted lots of photos on traingranny's Facebook page and also made several blog entries tonight. Rockin' and Rollin'. Meet GBN for dinner tomorrow night! :)

It's good to know that the service and "Enhanced Dining" cuisine aboard the Capitol Limited continues to be uniformly excellent.

I'm glad to hear that #29 made for a good trip and that the Superliners met (and perhaps exceeded) expectations.

I'm thinking that after having survived to retirement as a career educator no obstacle is too large (or in the case of two in a roomette - too small) to overcome with patience and good humor.

Can't wait to get home and have a look at your pictures...... At the moment I am in my office catching up on email both personal and professional and cannot see Facebook. My school system has that site (and many others) firewalled to protect the kids..... both young and old!

Climbing toward 5,000 posts like the Southwest Chief ascending Raton Pass. Cautiously, not nearly as fast as in the old days, and hoping to avoid premature reroutes.
