Nice, Chris. As you are (or seem to be) Amtrak's No. 1 customer, I hope they give you some freebies or other amenities on these trips.

If you've logged 1,350,000 miles in your travels, I figure you're only about 1,345,000 miles ahead of me, so don't look behind you.

Great Picture/History record of your many journeys.
Now with the new miles added to the DownEaster in a few days, I suspect you are planning a return trip to New England soon.

Jonathon - nice to see you here again.

Any recent trips or great photographs to share?

Advocating for passenger trains since 1973!

Climbing toward 5,000 posts like the Southwest Chief ascending Raton Pass. Cautiously, not nearly as fast as in the old days, and hoping to avoid premature reroutes.

Quite an accomplishment Chris. Wish you had been around to document passenger operations pre Amtrak!
