The setup:
You're a film director, planning a feature film where train travel is a major plot element.

The question:
Which five railroad stations (Amtrak, Commuter, or abandoned) would you use for exterior or interior location shooting?

Here are mine. . . .

Grand Central Terminal -- New York, NY (ex-New York Central, ex-New Haven, ex-Amtrak; now Metro-North)

Portland Union Station -- Portland, OR (ex-UP, SP, NP; now Amtrak)

Hoboken Terminal - Hoboken, NJ (ex-Erie Lackawanna; now New Jersey Transit)

Buffalo Central Station -- Buffalo, NY (ex-New York Central; now abandoned)

San Bernardino Station -- San Bernardino, CA (ex-Santa Fe; now Amtrak and Metrolink)

I'm gonna assume its a 1950s period piece and select those stations which still look like they are stuck in the 1950s or earlier (that doesn't necessarily mean they are pretty or anything.)

Denver Union Station, CO
Salinas, CA
Grand Junction, CO
Klamath Falls, OR

I can only think of four.
