I tried to schedule a short birthday trip from Matinez to Truckee around June 23. Amtrak puts me on a bus, and CZ shows as cancelled in the alternatives. Any idea what gives?

Trackwork over Donner Pass.

There is a 7-8 day period where the CZ will operate only east of Reno.

It seems like the dates were June 16-23..... subject to change.

Why not see if the computer will let you book on the 24th or 25th..... or 29th?

That's great - I'm glad it's going to work out for you.
