I saw an article about the Oregon Rail Heritage Center in a Northwest Travel magazine. It's located in downtown Portland (hold your cursor over the photo to advance to other photos):

Has the Southern Pacific 4449 locomotive and the SP&S 700 (Spokane, Portland, & Seattle) steam locomotive.

I haven't read the article, but this is the same people/equipment that used to be in the Brooklyn Roundhouse just down the way from here.

Visited their new facility in Portland last July. It is an impressive facility and worth a visit anytime one is in Portland.
