All--

Australian friends will be taking the Coast Starlight from LAUPT to SBA on Sunday, September 7. They will checking bags. I've never checked a bag there so am not sure of the procedure.

They will continue on the next day on the Surfliner to SLO where other friend will meet them and take them to Monterey and Sonoma.

We will all reunite on 16 September when we board Celebrity Century for a 23 night cruise across the Pacific to Sydney.

Frank you check bags at the ticket counter. But I did have a redcap take my bags and check them for me once.

So generous of you, Vicki!

They want to try out the Starlight in advance of a planned LAX-SEA trip next year for an Alaska Cruise.

All will work out well.

I always use a Red Cap for luggage in LAX. If you get there early and want to leave it with them, that works too. (I do not like to use the Left Luggage as they charge for that too, plus sometimes it isn't open.)
