I was just woundering if someone can help me out and tell me whear I can get the train radio frequencies to listen to on my scanner while traveling on the train.

There are 96 frequencies used within the US. Sometimes the 14 FRS frequencies are used by the on-board crew, but we've only run into that on the Sunset Limited.

Just read that generally you can scan around
160.0 to 161.9 MHz for major railroad signals. Hope this helps.

if you have a radio shack near you, they have a scanner frequency book, similar to betty bearcat. it gives frequencies for fire, ems, police, air, and railroads in your area. good resource, usually around 10-12 bucks.
