I am curious what happens to station caretakers, like in Princeton, IL, and other stops with the 3x a week service now on long distance trains? Are they still paid every day to open and close and clean the depot? OR do they see their pay cut by more than half from Amtrak?

Yeah, I know a couple of caretakers and they get paid around $20 or $30 a day to take out the trash and clean the bathrooms and everything.
