Dies anyone know of a hotel within walking distance (i.e., a few blocks) of the Sacramento train station?

There are several but they seem to be in the 5-6 block distance. In researching for a 2 night stay in May I got a rate of $86 at the Hyatt, enough to pay for a taxi to get there and a beer upon arrival! Found it on Orbitz...may still be there.

Railhotels.com lists three motels/hotels near the Sacramento Amtrak Station. Here's the link: www.railhotels.com

I stayed at the Vagabond last July, it is right across the street, though the view is somewhat ruined by the Freeway on-ramps. The Holiday Inn is one block further south; it is nicer but pricier. There is a Denny's between the 2 hotels, other places to eat would be a couple of blocks west (Old Town) or East (Mall).
